Merit Biotech INC., established in December 2007 and focusing on the development of animal health care product, had been approved to provide the feed supplement of piglet, which had proved to have specific effect on enhancing the survival rate and the weight of piglet.
The developing animal medicine of Merit biotech, Inc. had determined as a new drug for animal by council of agriculture, which would make Merit biotech, Inc. to become the first domestic company that entitled as a candidate to be the biotech drug company of animal medicine in January 2009.
